Journey to Westendorf/Tirol

Your journey to the Kitzbühel Alps is easy and hassle-free. The towns in the holiday region are very centrally located and in the immediate vicinity of the cities of Salzburg (80 km), Innsbruck (100km) and Munich (120 km). Nestled in a picturesque landscape, the holiday region of the Kitzbühel Alps to the Wilden Kaiser in the north to the Hohe Tauern National Park in the south and from the Inn Valley in the west to the Pillersee Valley in the east. The villages Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf are located in the beautiful Brixental, right next to the world-famous sports town of Kitzbühel.

There are no dams, passes or serpentine Alpine roads on the way to the Kitzbühel Alps. Whether you arrive by car, bus, train or plane - your journey will be easy and comfortable.

Travelling by car Getting to the Kitzbühel Alps in your own car is easy and convenient. There are no annoying dams or strenuous serpentines and passes on the way to your holiday paradise. The towns of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf can all be reached via well-maintained federal or provincial roads.

ATTENTION! You need a valid vignette everywhere on Austrian motorways. There have been NO exceptions since 2014!

Arrival by train The villages of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf are all located at railway stations, some with international rail connections. Further information on ÖBB.at.

Arrival by plane For cities and countries further away, travelling to the Kitzbühel Alps by plane is also suitable. Three airports are located in the immediate vicinity of the three winter and summer holiday resorts of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf in Tyrol: Salzburg (ca. 100km), Innsbruck (ca. 95km) and Munich (ca. 150km).
